Media Release

Mangaluru, Aug 13: Lourdes Central School’s Pre-KG section organised a joyous celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on August 12. The event, themed ‘Natkhat Bala Gopal and Graceful Radha,’ showcased the talents and enthusiasm of the little ones. Principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira and vice principal ma'am Anita Thomas graced the occasion.

The programme began with a prayer led by the KG2 students, creating a peaceful and prayerful ambience. This was followed by a delightful dance performance by the KG2 children, bringing the spirit of Janmashtami to life through graceful movements.

Pre KG children participated in the event, including mothers who joined their little ones in the celebrations, adding warmth and joy to the occasion.

The event was inaugurated by cradling the cradle, symbolising the birth of Lord Krishna. Principal addressed the gathering with his inspiring message asking the little lourdites to imbibe 3 qualities of Krishna - sharing with love and respect, obedience and making everyone happy with their presence.

A warm welcome was also extended to the Academic Coordinator, teachers, parents, and all the students who contributed to making the day special.

The highlight of the celebration was the lively Handi Breaking activity, which filled the hall with excitement and laughter as the children tried their best to break the handi. The joyous event concluded with special giveaways, leaving all the children happy and making the day truly memorable.

The entire celebration reflected the values and joyous spirit associated with Shri Krishna Janmashtami, creating beautiful memories for the young participants and attendees alike.
