Mumbai: Class XI girl, 17, jumps from 23rd floor of Goregaon tower, dies

Mumbai, Aug 15: In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old Class XI student allegedly ended her life by leaping from the 23rd floor of a high-rise in Goregaon East during the early hours of Thursday.

According to police, the incident occurred at the C Wing of Oberoi Square complex. Authorities confirmed this is the second such case in the same residential complex within a month — a male student had earlier jumped to death from the A Wing.

A case of accidental death has been registered at Aarey Colony Police Station. Further investigation is underway, officials said.
