Mangaluru, Aug 17: Polar Bear, one of India’s leading ice cream and sundae chains, has opened its second outlet in Mangaluru. The new store, located on Highland Road, Falnir, offers easy access from Kankanady Junction towards State Bank Road.

The outlet was inaugurated on Sunday, August 17, by Fr Faustine Lobo, director of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The event was attended by Polar Bear founder Kishor Rai, Narayana Bhat, Flavian D'Souza, and Jayesh D’Souza, the franchise owner of the new outlet.

Fr Faustine congratulated Jayesh and the Polar Bear team, remarking: “It is a joy to bless this new venture by Jayesh and family under the umbrella of such a renowned brand. Polar Bear is a widely loved ice cream brand across India, employing hundreds of young people. It spreads happiness not only through its authentic taste but also by supporting many families through employment. I wish the team continued success and expansion.”

In his address, Kishor Rai shared the brand’s growth journey: “Polar Bear now has over 170 outlets across India, including five in South Canara and two in Mangaluru. With more than 17 years in the industry, we have built a strong operating system to support our franchisees in delivering excellence. Our ice creams are 100% dairy-based, 100% vegetarian, and crafted with premium ingredients, strict hygiene, and a lot of love. We continue to innovate by refreshing classic sundae recipes to match the diverse tastes of Indian customers.”

Franchise owner Jayesh D’Souza welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the store’s ambience, designed to create a relaxed setting where customers can enjoy their favourite sundaes and ice creams.

With its signature range of sundaes, indulgent ice creams, and inviting atmosphere, Polar Bear’s new outlet at Falnir promises to be a sweet destination for dessert lovers in Mangaluru.
