UAE, Feb 4: Welcome to day two of the third and final Test between Pakistan and England from Dubai. 16 wickets fell on the first day. Pakistan were bundled out for 99 while England have managed to go past Pakistan's total but have lost six wickets in the process. England will be hoping that the tail wags today so that they can gain a substantial lead. Pakistan will look to take the remaining four wickets quickly .
Broad: It was a disappointing end to the day yesterday. We will want to score some quick runs today. It was a good toss to loss. We need to bowl stump to stump so that we can maintain the pressure today. We hope to frustrate the Pakistani bowlers. There are no demons on this wicket and we need to hang in there.
Pitch Report, day 2: It is cold and the sun has not broken through. There are some areas which have been roughed up. The rest of the pitch is wonderful to bat on.
Rehman: My role is to contain the batsmen. I am enjoying my role a lot. We would want to bundle England out quickly. I want to ensure that I do not give many loose balls. In the previous match, England attacked us and we are prepared this time. We need to bowl well to take the remaining wickets.
Earlier on day 1: A good day to be a bowler in International cricket. As many as 48 wickets fell today in all international games. 16 of those fell in this game as Pakistan fought back admirably after having been shot out for just 99. Pakistan and England have, arguably, the best bowling units in world cricket today and it was field day for them. The match hangs in balance now and a few lusty blows from the lower order batsmen could tilt the game in England's favour. Andrew Strauss has battled it out too and he holds the key for England on day 2.
