Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi, Girish Mattannanavar appear before Beltangady police for inquiry

Beltangady, Aug 20: In connection with the clash that took place in front of a private hospital at Ujire, Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi and Girish Mattannanavar appeared before the Beltangady police station for inquiry.

A notice had been issued to Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi along with 16 other accused in Crime Nos. 76/77/79/2025 registered at the Beltangady police station, directing them to appear for inquiry at 10 am on August 20. Following the notice, they presented themselves at the station at 5 pm on Wednesday, August 20.

Three separate cases had been registered against Mahesh Shetty Timarodi, including a suo motu case over the unlawful gathering in front of the hospital, an assault on media persons, and derogatory statements made against the media. He is currently facing inquiry before Beltangady inspector Subbapur Math.
