Bantwal, Aug 20: A 42-year-old man ended his life by hanging in Urimajalu, under the jurisdiction of Vittal police station.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Acharya (42), a resident of the area, who was engaged in lighting work.
On August 20, he reportedly tied a rope to a tree near his house and hanged himself.
He is survived by his wife and family members. Vittal police visited the spot and are investigating the case.
