DK District Youth Congress Committee hosts food distribution at Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru, Aug 21: On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and former Karnataka chief minister Devaraj Urs, the Dakshina Kannada District Youth Congress Committee under the leadership of district president Ibrahim Nawaz organized a special service event at District Wenlock Hospital. Volunteers of the committee distributed free meals to over 400 people, extending support and compassion to patients and their families.

The initiative reflected the values of social justice, inclusivity, and service to society championed by Rajiv Gandhi and Devaraj Urs. The Youth Congress Committee reaffirmed its commitment to carrying forward their vision by standing with the community and ensuring care reaches those in need.

District Youth Congress vice president Sunith D'Sa Kulshekar, Deekshit Attavar, district general secretary Souhan S K, Mangaluru South constituency president Asif Bajal, block president Velvin Jaison, Prithviraj Poojary, Fayaz Ammemar, Ansaruddin Salmara, Avlon Castelino, Oscar Menezes and M Friends member Mohammad Ali Kammarady and Mohammad Kukkuvalli were present.
