Mangaluru, Aug 21: NSS Unit 21 of Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management organized the Viksit Bharat – Young Leaders Dialogue on the theme 'Young Minds, Strong Nation – Building a Viksit Bharat' at YMK, Kulur.
The programme was held under the guidance of Dr Ashwini S Shetty NSS coordinator, Dr Jeevan Raj, principal (in-charge), and was presided over by Narayan Sukumar A, vice principal. The formal welcome was delivered by Priya, NSS programme officer, while the event was compered by Dua, NSS volunteer.


The highlight of the day was the panel discussion chaired by Col Nithin Bhide (Retd), officer in charge, ex-servicemen healthcare, DK & Udupi, ministry of defence. The panelists included eminent personalities such as Prof Vineetha, former registrar (evaluation), School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya; Vishal Dutta, founder chairman, Pratha Indic Renaissance Trust; Dr Imran Pasha M, additional professor, department of public health dentistry; Dr Priyadarshini, director, Harsha Modern Diagnostics Service; and Rashmi J Anchan, NSS national and state awardee.
And moderator included Nishwan, Dhanyashree Bhat and Charunayana -NSS volunteers.
The interactive session saw an exchange of ideas on innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, sustainability, and youth empowerment, inspiring students to contribute actively towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Akeef, NSS Volunteer. The event successfully motivated the youth to align their aspirations with the larger vision of a developed and self-reliant India.
