Mumbai, Aug 24: Mahindra & Mahindra created history on Saturday as all 999 units of its limited-edition BE 6 Batman Edition SUV were sold out within just 135 seconds of bookings opening at 11 am.

The BE 6 Batman Edition, unveiled on the eve of India’s 79th Independence Day on August 14, was originally conceived as a 300-unit collector’s model. However, overwhelming demand led Mahindra to expand allocations to 999 units, which still disappeared in barely two minutes.

Marking Mahindra’s first collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the BE 6 Batman Edition fuses bold EV design with the cinematic legacy of The Dark Knight Trilogy. Priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition reflects exclusivity and innovation.

Deliveries of the limited-edition SUV will commence from September 20, 2025. The milestone also highlights Mahindra’s Unlimit India vision, showcasing world-class EV technology and reaffirming India’s growing stature in global automotive innovation.
