Udupi: Dr Suhas G C to join Adarsha Hospital’s cardiology dept from Aug 28

Udupi, Aug 27: Adarsha Hospital, one of the reputed healthcare institutions in Udupi district, is strengthening its cardiology department with the appointment of cardiologist Dr Suhas G C, who will be available for patient care from August 28.

Dr Suhas completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, MD in general medicine from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru, and DM in cardiology with top distinction from Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. He further honed his expertise in complex coronary interventions under the guidance of internationally renowned cardiologist Dr Surya Prakash Rao at the Indo-Japanese CTO Club, Hyderabad.

Son of Dr G S Chandrashekhar, medical director of Adarsha Hospital, and Vimala Chandrashekhar, CEO of the hospital, Dr Suhas brings advanced skills in angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and various cardiac procedures.

Adarsha Hospital, with a capacity of 200 beds, has earned recognition for its comprehensive healthcare services. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art CT scan, MRI, and a modern philips cath lab. In the cardiology department, Dr Suhas will join the existing team of specialists Dr Srikanth K and Dr Vishukumar B. The hospital also houses expert neurologists who perform advanced procedures such as aneurysm clipping and coiling, alongside super-specialists across surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, and other disciplines.

The hospital infrastructure includes three modular operation theatres, a 25-bed fully air-conditioned ICU, dedicated NICU and PICU units, and a well-equipped maternity wing.

The inauguration of Dr Suhas’s service will be blessed and formally launched by Sri Vishwapriya Teertha Swamiji of Adamaru Matha.
