Moodbidri, Aug 30: In a remarkable moment of pride for the coastal city, a young author and orator from Mangaluru, Reshel Fernandes presented her book ‘Bharat at 2047: Role of youth’ to his excellency, the governor of Andhra Pradesh and former Supreme Court judge, Justice Abdul Nazeer, at a special programme held in Moodbidri.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of several dignitaries, including MLA Umanath Kotian, former minister Abhay Chandra Jain, Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner Darshan, Mangalore University vice-chancellor Prof P L Dharma, along with senior advocates and other distinguished guests.

The book, authored by the young talent, highlights the crucial role of youth in shaping India’s vision and progress as the nation marches towards 2047, marking 100 years of independence.
The Governor, while appreciating the effort, encouraged the younger generation to actively engage in nation-building and contribute positively to India’s growth story.
