Mangaluru, Sep 3: Showcasing talent, determination and the true spirit of competition, students of St Agnes CBSE School distinguished themselves with remarkable performances across diverse sporting events this August.

Dhrithi Shetty of class 10 B made her presence felt at the 5th state level kickboxing championship 2025, held on August 10 and organised by the Bengaluru District kickboxing Sports Association. She displayed exceptional skill by clinching first place in light contact (42 kg) and first place in point fight (42 kg). Her double victory stands as a testimony to her discipline, strength, and mastery of the sport.

In the field of athletics, Thasvi SK of class 8 C earned distinction at the AICS Cross Country Race 2025, hosted by Dr MRSM School on August 18 under the aegis of the Association of ICSE and CBSE Schools of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Districts. Competing with determination in the under-14 category, she secured sixth place, reflecting her stamina, perseverance, and competitive edge.

Adding to the school’s achievements, Sweedal Sanvi D’Souza of class 6 D exhibited commendable performance at the Badminton tournament (under-11 singles) organised by Jeshma Badminton Academy in association with Yadav Pro Badminton Academy on August 17. She emerged as the runner-up, impressing the audience with her agility and sharp reflexes on the court.

This remarkable success is a reflection of the school’s holistic approach to education. The management, principal, vice principal, staff and students of St Agnes School (CBSE) extended heartfelt congratulations to the young champions for bringing pride and honour to the institution.
