New Delhi, Sep 3: Indian para-badminton player Sukant Kadam has achieved a new career high, reaching the World No. 1 ranking in the SL4 category. This significant milestone is a testament to his consistent performance and unwavering dedication over the past few years.
Kadam's ascent to the top spot is fueled by a series of impressive results, including medals at the World Para-Badminton Championships and the Asian Para Games. Most recently, his gold medal victory at the Spanish Para-Badminton International 2025 played a crucial role in boosting his world ranking.
Now, Kadam is preparing for the upcoming China Para-Badminton International 2025, with the goal of maintaining his top ranking and gaining valuable experience ahead of future major events. His sights are set on the 2026 Asian Games, where he aims to win gold and further enhance India’s reputation in the sport.
