Davangere, Sep 10: The Karnataka Unaided Pre-University College Management Association (KUPMA) has announced that the second state-level ‘Pre-University Education Conclave 2025’ will be held on September 12th and 13th, at the SS Mallikarjuna Cultural Centre, BIET Davangere.
The two-day conclave aims to bring together management representatives from unaided PU colleges across Karnataka for focused discussions on education, technology, and institutional development.


The event will be inaugurated by SS Mallikarjuna, minister of mines, geology & horticulture, government of Karnataka. Dr Prabha Mallikarjuna, honourable member of parliament, Davangere, will be the chief guest, while Madhu Bangarappa, minister of primary and secondary education, government of Karnataka, will also grace the event. KUPMA president, secretary, executive committee members, and management representatives from districts across the state are expected to participate as guests of honour.
Starting 11:30 am on Friday, September 12, the conclave will feature sessions by expert resource persons on key themes including:
• Building a strong association
• Role of technology & AI in PU education and institution management
• Challenges of managing private unaided PU colleges
• Upgrading the quality of PU teaching
The conclave will conclude on September 13 at 1:30 pm with a closing ceremony.
The symposium will also facilitate discussions on the responsibilities of Karnataka State PU colleges, challenges faced by unaided institutions, the role of PU colleges in nation-building, and strategies to enhance coordination with the government.
In a press release, KUPMA president Dr M Mohan Alva and secretary Prof Narendra L Nayak urged all presidents, convenors, secretaries, and members of unaided PU colleges across the state to actively participate in the two-day programme.
