Udupi, Sep 12: The sun-kissed morning of September 10th will be memorable one, as the Trinity family extended an amiable welcome to our newly appointed CEB Executive Secretary Rev Fr Charles Furtado. With the baton passed on from the former executive secretary Fr Robin D’souza, the joy of being one amongst the Trinitarians was evident.
The programme was helmed by the students of grade 8A, who also presented their class assembly, on the topic ‘Time Management’. Following the prayer, the students presented the thought for the day, reading of the news headlines, a speech and a meaningful skit on the importance of ‘Time Management’.
Before addressing the students, Fr Charles Furtado was welcomed with a bouquet and felicitated by the principal, Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, vice principal and administrator Fr Amar Lobo and academic co-ordinator Magdalena Lewis.

Fr Charles conveyed his elation at the outstanding progress of the school since its humble beginnings. After extending his wishes, Fr Charles stressed on the importance of learning and upgrading our skills in speaking and communicating in good English. He laid importance on the habit of regular reading, learning new vocabulary and conversing well in English as it is a global language, and is imperative that, as an English medium school we need to give it more importance.
Student achievers in various academic, sport and co-curricular activities were honoured by the dignitaries on the dais.
In his speech, the principal extended his greetings to the CEB secretary and assured that the Trinity family will follow his advice and take Trinity to greater heights.
With cheer, once again, we the Trinity family extend a cordial welcome to rev Fr Charles Furtado, the newly appointed CEB secretary.
We respectfully express our gratitude to our former CEB president Fr Alwyn Dias and CEB executive secretary, Fr Robin Victor D'Souza for their presence and support in all the endeavours of our school during their successful tenure.
