New Delhi, Sep 15: In a heart-stopping moment captured on camera, a family dog is being hailed as a hero after preventing what could have been a devastating accident involving a baby in a stroller. The incident occurred while a woman was doing laundry near a sloped area, with her infant nearby in a stroller and the family dog resting close.
Suddenly, the stroller began to roll dangerously toward a body of water. Without hesitation, the dog sprang into action. Leaping into the water, it pushed back against the stroller just in time, stopping it from tipping over and keeping the baby safe.
The dramatic footage quickly spread across Instagram, sparking an outpouring of emotion and admiration.

One user wrote, "Dogs are family. They show us what love and loyalty truly mean."
Another commented, "Very nice and beautiful job, dog!"
"We only have one heart, Dogesh bhai—how many times will you win it?" read a particularly poetic remark.
Some users went even further: "That's why I love dogs more than humans," and "They are God. Not just in temples, but in the form of animals."
Others echoed similar sentiments:
"Animals are better than humans," and "Hope humans stay loyal to dogs," reflecting the deep emotional impact the video had.
This isn’t the first time a dog’s protective instincts have gone viral. Earlier this year in Rishikesh, a German Shepherd became a local celebrity after jumping from a balcony to defend children from an aggressive stray. The heroic moment was caught on security footage and widely praised.
In another incredible incident, a stray dog in Lebanon rescued a newborn baby girl who had been abandoned in a trash bag. The dog gently carried the infant through the streets until a passerby, drawn by the baby's cries, stepped in. The baby, only a few hours old, was found with bruises but was promptly taken to the hospital and stabilized.
These stories are powerful reminders of the deep compassion and bravery animals often show — qualities we sometimes overlook, but never forget when witnessed.
