Hyderabad, Sep 19: A disturbing incident at Narayana Junior College in Hyderabad has left one student seriously injured after an alleged assault by college staff.

According to reports, the incident took place on September 15 when a verbal argument broke out between two intermediate students. Satish, the floor in-charge, reportedly intervened but allegedly lost control, physically attacking the students. One of them, Sai Puneeth, sustained a fractured jaw in the assault and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, Sai Puneeth’s parents lodged a police complaint, leading to a case being registered against the accused staff member.

The incident has sparked outrage among students and parents alike, raising serious questions about the safety protocols and disciplinary measures at the college. Local authorities are now investigating the matter, and the college management has been urged to ensure stricter supervision and safeguards for student welfare.
