Kundapur, Sep 23: The research cell of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur (MITK) organized the second international conference on Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and data science, held over two days.
Brigadier (Dr) Surjit Singh Pabla, chairman of MSDC Manipal, chief guest, inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp. Delivering the opening keynote address, he shed light on the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) and Human-Centric AI. He expressed his great happiness that such an excellent and relevant topic was being addressed through this conference at MIT-K.
Dr Charanjit Kaur Pabla also conveyed her best wishes to the conference.

In his presidential address, principal Dr Ramakrishna Hegde stated that if technologies like AI are used positively, they can become a guiding light for all living beings, and therefore, everyone must learn about them and make good use of them.
Vice principal Dr Melwyn D’Souza noted that it was remarkable that MITK students themselves presented quality research papers at the conference.
The event, which began with a prayer, conference convener Dr Indra Vijay Singh, dean of research division MITK, gave an introductory note and explained the objectives and goals of the conference.
Nikitha delivered the welcome address. Professor Lakshmi introduced the chief guests and Anusha proposed the vote of thanks.
Dr Sathyajit, director of IMJ Research Institute, various deans, heads of departments, national and international invited delegates, faculty members, students, and research scholars participated both in person and virtually, presenting their papers.
The conference became a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and discussions on recent research trends. The active participation of experts from academia and industry contributed to the grand success of the event.
