BSF launches search after suspected Pakistani drone sighting in Samba

Daijiworld Media Network – Jammu

Jammu, Sep 28: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday morning launched a massive search operation after spotting a suspected Pakistani drone along the International Border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

According to BSF sources, the drone was seen hovering over Karalian village in the Ramgarh sector around 6:30 am before it suddenly disappeared from sight.

BSF personnel immediately fanned out across Karalian and adjoining areas to rule out any airdropping of weapons or narcotics from across the border.

“The search operation is still underway to ensure there has been no cross-border drop of arms or contraband,” an official confirmed, adding that troops are maintaining heightened vigil along the IB in the sector.
