Sullia: Dog attacks teacher conducting household survey

Sullia, Oct 4: A woman teacher conducting a social and educational household survey was attacked by a dog at Kodyal in Sullia taluk on Friday.

According to sources, the teacher from Moovappe School had visited a house at Nidmaru in Kodyal for the survey when the house dog suddenly attacked her. Her clothes were torn in the incident.

The teacher reportedly tried to defend herself using her bag until the house members rushed out and managed to restrain the dog.

Shaken by the incident, the teacher was unable to continue the survey and returned home, it is learnt.
