Mumbai, Oct 11: Skoda India has announced the launch of the Octavia RS in India on October 17, with bookings opening at Rs 2.50 lakh. The performance-oriented model has already seen all 100 units booked, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November. Imported as a CBU, the vehicle is expected to be priced around Rs 50 lakh.
The 2025 Octavia RS boasts a sporty design with LED Matrix headlights, DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, and dynamic body contours. Inside, it features sport seats and a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with additional upgrades.

Under the hood, the car is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 216 hp and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission driving the front wheels. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. Unlike some global variants, the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) is not available in this version.
The Octavia RS sits 15 mm lower than the standard model and comes with a unique exhaust system, enhancing its sporty character, living up to its RS badge and performance credentials.
