Mangaluru, Oct 12: In a heartwarming display of energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit, Yenepoya World School, in collaboration with the Niveus Mangalore Marathon, hosted the Student Promo Run on Sunday, October 12, at Yenepoya Speciality Hospital, Kodialbail.

The event saw an inspiring turnout of students aged between 3 and 17, who participated in a 2 km run celebrating fitness, friendship, and the joy of participation. Chief guest IGP Amit Singh IPS graced the occasion and launched the 25th-anniversary logo of The Yenepoya School.

“This run wasn’t just about speed—it was about spirit,” said Anthony Joseph, principal of Yenepoya World School. “We witnessed students cheering each other on, families coming together, and a shared commitment to wellness that truly moved us.”

The Student Promo Run served as a vibrant curtain-raiser for the upcoming Niveus Mangalore Marathon 2025, scheduled for November 9. With free registration, the initiative aimed to foster early engagement and highlight the importance of youth fitness in today’s fast-paced world.

Local media, school representatives, and community members gathered to support the runners, capturing moments of grit, grace, and genuine joy. From the sumptuous snacks to the fitness warm-up session by Kasharp Fitness Mangalore, the atmosphere was electric—proof that when young minds unite, they create ripples of change.

As the final runners crossed the finish line, applause echoed through the venue, marking not just the end of a race, but the beginning of a movement.
