Mangaluru, Oct 15: The Department of MBA at Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management (YIASCM) successfully organized YEN- NEETHI 2025 “ARENA OF STRATEGIES”, a national level management fest on October 13. The fest provided a dynamic platform for management students across the country to exhibit their leadership, analytical and strategic abilities.
The inaugural ceremony, commenced with a prayer led by Ansar Ali, followed by a warm welcome by Krupa Maria Rosario. The lamp-lighting ceremony by the dignitaries marked an auspicious beginning. Sahana M, faculty convenor, briefed the audience about the fest, after which Prof Niyaz Panakaje, coordinator of YEN-REFINED & MBA, delivered the coordinator’s remarks.


















The chief guest, Dr B H Sripathi Rao, pro vice-chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), and the guest of honour, P B Ahmed Mudassar, president, KCCI, Mangaluru, addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of experiential learning in management education. Prof Jeevan Raj, principal (I/C), delivered the presidential remarks, appreciating the team’s efforts in organizing a fest that fosters academic and professional excellence. The session concluded with a vote of thanks and a graceful welcome dance.
Around 180 students from 20 colleges across the region and states showcased their talents in various management domains through a series of challenging events. The participants demonstrated their strategic brilliance in Raaja Neethi, a quest for the best manager, and their marketing creativity in Vikraya Neethi. The nuances of human resource management were explored in Sambandh Neethi, while financial expertise was tested in Artha Neethi. Intellectual prowess and business acumen shone through in Tattva Neethi, the business quiz event that concluded the competitive line-up.
The valedictory ceremony, marked the grand conclusion of the fest. The session began with reflections from participants who appreciated the platform for its competitive spirit, learning opportunities, and professional exposure. Prof Niyaz Panakaje, coordinator of YEN-REFINED & MBA, commended the organizing team for their collective efforts, while Prof Shareena P, dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management and vice principal, acknowledged the participants’ enthusiasm and highlighted the importance of such events in shaping managerial competence. The chief guest, Vishwas U S, founder director of Section Infin–8 Foundation, delivered an insightful address on innovation and leadership in the modern business landscape. The guest of honour Maimoona Majeed, the sole proprietor of Majeed Farms graced the occasion with her presence. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes and appreciation of convenors.
The overall championship trophy was bagged by Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, while the overall runners-up trophy was secured by St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.
YEN-NEETHI 2025 served as a celebration of managerial intellect, creativity and teamwork, reaffirming YIASCM’s commitment to fostering a vibrant culture of learning and leadership.
