Mangaluru: Retired printing press worker succumbs after being hit by car near Car Street

Mangaluru, Oct 18: A retired printing press employee succumbed to his injuries after being struck by a car while walking near Car Street in Mangaluru.

The victim, 63-year-old P Durgadas Shenoy, a resident of the Microwave Station area in B C Road, was involved in the accident while crossing the road. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital immediately.

Despite receiving treatment, Shenoy passed away on October 16.

Shenoy is survived by his wife and daughter. He had dedicated nearly 28 years to the binding section of a local printing press before retiring recently.
