Patna, Oct 22: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday criticised the NDA for lacking a clear vision and relying on personal attacks during elections, asserting that his party operates with careful planning, expert consultation, and a focused roadmap for Bihar’s development.
“Everything we do is based on research and expert advice,” Tejashwi said in an interview with reporters. “Unlike the NDA, which enters elections without a roadmap and only focuses on abusing me and my party, we are addressing real issues — unemployment, migration, poverty, and inflation. Bihar cannot run on empty slogans and blame games anymore.”

Tejashwi asserted that the RJD is offering a clear alternative by presenting actionable solutions, not just promises. He highlighted his party’s achievements during their recent 17-month stint in government, claiming that they had created five lakh jobs, filled four lakh vacant teaching posts, and completed all pending recruitment processes — achievements, he noted, that had been dismissed as "impossible" by previous BJP leaders like Sushil Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
“We don’t need to prove our intent — the results speak for themselves,” he added.
The RJD leader also announced what he described as two “historic decisions” aimed at empowering women and contract workers in the state. First, he promised to make Community Mobilisers permanent employees with a monthly salary of ?30,000, addressing longstanding demands from JEEViKA didis, who he said had suffered exploitation under the current administration.
“When we spoke to the JEEViKA women, they said, ‘Tejashwi, we trust you — do something.’ This is our response to that trust,” he said, adding that loans taken by JEEViKA members would now carry zero interest under his proposed policy.
He further committed that all contract workers in the state would be regularised if the RJD returns to power.
“These steps are not just promises — they are our commitment to dignity, security, and justice for thousands of workers and women who have been ignored for too long,” Tejashwi said.
As Bihar gears up for the next election cycle, Tejashwi’s remarks signal the RJD’s continued focus on employment, social justice, and structured governance — in sharp contrast to the NDA’s campaign rhetoric, he claims.
