Christ King student Sudheesh S Shetty qualifies for state-level javelin throw competition

Karkala, Oct 31: Sudheesh S Shetty, a second-year commerce student of Christ King Pre-University College, Karkala, has brought pride to his institution by winning the silver medal in the javelin throw event at the Udupi district-level Pre-University Athletics Meet.

The event was organised under the auspices of the Department of Pre-University Education, government of Karnataka, Udupi district administration, and the Udupi District Association of PU College Principals, and was held at the District Sports Ground, Ajjarkad, Udupi.

By securing the silver medal, Sudheesh has earned a place to represent Udupi district at the state-level athletic meet.
