Kasaragod, Nov 1: In a delightful announcement coinciding with Kerala Piravi Day, the Railway Board has released the schedule for Kerala’s third Vande Bharat Express, connecting Ernakulam with Bengaluru. Railway passengers across the state have hailed it as a fitting gift to mark the special occasion.
As per the communication issued by the Railway Board on October 31, the Train No. 26651 KSR Bengaluru – Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will depart from Bengaluru at 5.10 am and arrive at Ernakulam at 1.50 pm. En route, the train will halt at Krishnarajapuram (5.23 am – 5.25 am), Salem (8.13 am – 8.15 am), Erode (9.00 am – 9.05 am), Tiruppur (9.45 am – 9.47 am), Coimbatore (10.33 am – 10.35 am), Palakkad (11.28 am – 11.30 am), and Thrissur (12.28 pm – 12.30 pm), before reaching Ernakulam.

In the return direction, Train No. 22652 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will depart from Ernakulam at 2.20 pm and reach Bengaluru at 11 pm. The train will halt at Thrissur (3.17 pm – 3.20 pm), Palakkad (4.35 pm – 4.37 pm), Coimbatore (5.20 pm – 5.23 pm), Tiruppur (6.03 pm – 6.05 pm), Erode (6.45 pm – 6.50 pm), Salem (7.18 pm – 7.20 pm), and Krishnarajapuram (10.23 pm – 10.25 pm) before reaching Bengaluru.
The train will be maintained at the Bengaluru yard, according to the release. With the launch of this new service, Kerala strengthens its high-speed rail connectivity, offering faster and more comfortable travel between the state and the IT capital of India.
