Kadaba, Nov 1: Serious allegations have surfaced claiming that the Kadaba tahsildar’s office, meant to serve the public, has now come under the influence of brokers who allegedly control much of its internal functioning.
According to reports, several individuals have been seen sitting inside staff cabins handling bundles of files — actions that have raised questions about their official role and authority. It is alleged that these individuals introduce themselves as 'public representatives' and are often seen arguing with genuine visitors.

Locals have expressed frustration, stating that while ordinary citizens are made to wait outside for their official work, these so-called middlemen freely enter the office and discuss files directly with staff members. Witnesses claim that some of them even obtain signatures on documents, asserting authority they do not possess.
When questioned by the public, a few of these individuals reportedly responded rudely, saying, “I am a public representative; who are you to question me — the tahsildar?” Such remarks have triggered anger and outrage among citizens.
Eyewitnesses allege that these brokers operate with the support of certain office staff and demand money to process public applications. “This is a government office meant for the people, yet the public has to wait outside while only a few are allowed inside,” said a local resident in disappointment.
The issue has drawn widespread criticism on social media, with citizens questioning, “Are there different rules for public representatives and common people?” Demands have been made for immediate clarification and strict action from the tahsildar and the district administration regarding the alleged irregularities and unauthorised presence inside the office.
Locals have urged the district administration to conduct a thorough inquiry into the regular presence of brokers in the tahsildar’s office and to ensure transparency and accountability in public service operations.
