SMVITM to organise ‘Avishkar 2K25’ state-level science & technology competition on Nov 15

Udupi, Nov 4: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, Udupi, is proud to present Avishkar 2K25, a state-level science and technology competition aimed at nurturing scientific curiosity and innovation among Pre-University (PU) and high school students state level and district level on November 15 at the SMVITM campus.

Avishkar 2k25 is envisioned as a vibrant platform to ignite scientific curiosity, foster creative thinking, and promote technological awareness among young learners. The chief guest will be Pratheek Bayal, I A S, chief executive officer, Zilla Panchayat, Udupi, and the guest of honour will be K Jagadish Navada, principal, Viveka Pre-University College, Kota, Udupi.

The event will feature the following competitions: Science model exhibition, science quiz and short video making competition. The objective of Avishkar 2k25 is to cultivate early interest in STEM disciplines, provide a stage for expression and experimentation, and foster peer learning through healthy competition. Organizers cordially invite P U colleges across Karnataka to encourage their students to participate and represent their institutions.
