Mangaluru: Srinivas University postgraduate courses orientation programme held

Mangaluru, Nov 5: Srinivas University organised the orientation programme for postgraduate courses for the academic year 2025-26 on November 5, at Hotel Srinivas.

The pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of the A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr A Srinivas Rao, in his presidential address, emphasised that students are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills relevant to industry needs. He proudly stated that the graduates of Srinivas University are 100% employable and that many have become successful entrepreneurs who, in turn, create employment opportunities for others. He highlighted that in the professional world, the way one presents knowledge is as important as the knowledge itself.

Dr Rao further urged students to develop strong personalities and strive to stand out in their respective industries. He concluded by saying that true education lies in active involvement, and one’s engagement in learning determines their success.

Srinivas University development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, administered the oath to the students and welcome the students.

Srinivas University vice chancellor Dr Sathyanarayana Reddy, introduced the university and its offerings. The event was graced by Institute of Aviation Studies dean Dr Pavithra Kumari, Institute of Engineering and Technology dean Dr Ramakrishna Hegde were present.

Dr. Venkatesh S Amin, dean of the Institute of Management and Commerce, welcomed the gathering. Dr Subramanya Bhat, dean Institute of Computer Sciences & Information Sciences delivered the vote of thanks. Prof Swathi Bhat and Prof Elson D’Souza compered the programme.
