Mangaluru, Nov 5: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, Mangaluru, is delighted to announce the upcoming Science Day celebration – Jnana Sethu 2025, a flagship event dedicated to promoting scientific curiosity, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning among students.

The event is scheduled to be held on November 7. Jnana Sethu 2025 aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, in keeping with the spirit of National Science Day. The event provides a platform for students to exhibit innovative projects, models, research posters, and interactive demonstrations that highlight the theme “Science for Peace”.

Distinguished academicians, industry experts, and research professionals will grace the occasion, delivering keynote talks, panel discussions, and technical sessions that inspire scientific thinking and collaboration.

The event will be inaugurated by chief guest, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese & president, SJEC in the presence of Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, director of SJEC, Dr Rio Dsouza, principal, Fr. Kenneth Rayner Crasta and other members of the management.

The Jnana Sethu initiative underscores SJEC’s commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity, and a research-oriented mind-set among young engineers. It brings together participants from multiple disciplines—encouraging a spirit of teamwork, discovery, and societal contribution through science and technology.
