Colva: Benaulim resident dies after bike crashes into compound wall at Seraulim

Colva, Nov 6: In a tragic incident, Leo Fernandes (38), a resident of Benaulim, succumbed to injuries sustained in a self-accident at Seraulim earlier this week.

According to Colva police, the mishap occurred on November 3, when Fernandes was riding his two-wheeler from Seraulim towards Benaulim. As he approached the railway gate at Seraulim, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a compound wall.

He was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment but, despite medical efforts, succumbed to his injuries on November 4.

Police have registered a case of accidental death and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
