US woman throws hot coffee at McDonald’s worker after waiting an hour

Michigan, Nov 8: A shocking incident unfolded at a McDonald’s outlet in Michigan when an irate customer threw a large cup of hot coffee at a store manager after claiming she waited over an hour for her online order.

The incident, captured on surveillance video and shared by the Buena Vista Police Department, shows the woman—identified as 48-year-old Casharra Brown—angrily confronting the manager, calling her a “liar.”

“You’ve got your coffee. That’s all you were charged for. Your refund will take up to 48 hours,” the manager is heard saying before turning away. Moments later, Brown shouts, “F*** you. Catch that hot-a** coffee,” and hurls the beverage at the employee’s back.
Police confirmed that a warrant has been issued for Brown’s arrest. “I must have gotten about 100 tips. Within about two minutes, we had her identified,” said Buena Vista detective Russ Pahssen.

The video quickly went viral, sparking outrage on social media. Many users demanded jail time for Brown, saying no restaurant worker should face such abuse.

Earlier this year, a Texas restaurant was ordered to pay $2.8 million to a teenager who was burned by hot barbecue sauce, highlighting growing concerns over customer assaults and safety in food service establishments.
