Mangaluru: St Theresa’s grade 10 students excels at Inter-School Science Competitions

Mangaluru, Nov 10: St Theresa’s School proudly participated in a series of exciting events model making, hydrocanon, load-up, contraption, and quiz competitions hosted by St Joseph Engineering College on November 7. The event served as a vibrant platform for young minds to display their creativity, scientific knowledge, and innovative thinking alongside participants from various schools and institutions.

It was a moment of pride and joy when the team from St Theresa’s School secured first place in the contraption competition. The model prepared by the students was also declared the best and most creative model, adding glory to the institution. The winners — Dishan Pinto, Jude Peris Bhatt, and Kenneth D’Souza of grade 10 — were appreciated for their ingenuity and teamwork.

Adding to the celebration, the science model titled ‘Solar-Powered Smart City’ was recognized as the best innovative model. This creative project was designed by Hanson Pereira, Manvik Gowda, Sherwyn Fernandes, and Srimanyu Rai of grade 9, bringing further laurels to the school.

The students of St Theresa’s School showcased remarkable talent, teamwork, and originality across all events. Their models and experiments reflected a deep understanding of scientific concepts and a passion for innovation, earning appreciation from judges and organizers alike.
