Sullia: 24-year-old gram panchayat worker passes away after prolonged illness

Sullia, Nov 12: In a tragic incident, Pavithra (24), daughter of late Chinnappa Gowda from Manjol Kajje, Markanja village, passed away on November 10 at a hospital in Mangaluru following a prolonged illness.

Pavithra was serving as a Rural Rehabilitation Worker at the Harihara Pallathadka gram panchayat.

According to sources, she had been suffering from health complications for the past six months and was undergoing treatment. Her condition worsened about a week ago, leading to her admission to the Sulya Government Hospital. She was later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment, but sadly, she did not respond to the treatment and breathed her last on Sunday.

She is survived by her mother and sister.
