Pride and power: St Agnes school (CBSE) achieves sporting excellence

Mangaluru, Nov 12: St Agnes School (CBSE), Mangaluru, celebrated a proud moment of sporting excellence as its students showcased remarkable performances at both inter school and state level tournaments.

At the inter school table tennis tournament organized by the Dakshina Kannada District Table Tennis Association, under the aegis of the Karnataka Table Tennis Association, in collaboration with St Theresa’s ICSE School, Bendur, Mangalore, on October 25. The under 17 girls team from St Agnes School (CBSE) secured an impressive third place among competing schools from Mangalore and Udupi. The talented players Reyhana Kaiser Hasan (grade IXB), Fathima Zoha (grade VIIID) and Ahana Adiga (grade IXA) displayed exceptional teamwork, focus, and determination throughout the matches, earning appreciation from both the organizers and spectators.

Adding to the school’s pride, Ashel Jewel Fernandes of (grade VIID) achieved third place in the 52 kg women sub junior classic bench press category at the Karnataka State Powerlifting Championships held at Gatty Samaja Bhavan, Mangalore, from October 24 to 26. Her dedication, discipline, and strength exemplified true sportsmanship and perseverance at the state level.

The management, principal, vice principal, staff and students of St Agnes School (CBSE) congratulated the young achievers for their outstanding accomplishments and for bringing laurels to the school through their exemplary performance in sports.
