Bengaluru’s Nele Foundation to receive 11th Moolathva Vishwa Award 2024 for outstanding service

Mangaluru, Nov 13: Moolathva Foundation Charitable Trust, having its origin at Mangaluru, works on the theme 'I am you and you are me'. It finds humans in God and God in every human. Through collective prayer the members of the Foundation try to understand each other, ensure physical and mental health of devotees, lead stress free life, conduct free medical camps, offer educational help for poor children and also organise Swachh Bharath Abhiyans.

Ever since its inception it has been recognising eminent personalities who are rendering selfless service to the society, by honouring them with Moolathva Vishwa Award. Mangalurean Aksharasantha Harekala Hajabba (2015), West Bengal's Padmashree Subhashini Mistry (2016), Pune's Padmashree Sindhutai Sapkal (2017), Bengaluru's Auto Raja (2018), Nagpur's Prakash and Mandakini Amte Couple (2019), Udupi's Ravi Katpadi (2020), Ankola's Padmashree Sukri Bomma Gowda (2021), Telangana's Padmashri Sunitha Krishnan (2022), Chhattisgarh’s Padmashri Phool Basan Bai Yadav (2023) Malpe's (Udupi) Eshwar Malpe (2024) are the recipients of this award during the last 10 years.

The 11th Moolathva Vishwa Award 2024 is conferred on NELE FOUNDATION, Bengaluru Along with Rs. 1,00,001/- cash prize. Nele Foundation work in uplifting and supporting underprivileged children and fostering a more compassionate society. Unwavering commitment to empowering underprivileged children and communities has created a significant and lasting impact in Bengaluru and beyond. Through holistic approach—combining education, mental health support, and community empowerment have nurtured hope and self-reliance among marginalized groups.

The Moolathva Vishwa Award function will be held on November 16 at 10 am at Sharada Vidyalaya Auditorium, Kodialbail, Mangaluru.
