Udupi, Nov 16: Mandavi Infrastructures unveiled the mock-up flat of its luxury residential project, Mandavi Royal Garden, at Kalsanka on November 14. The sample flat, located on the seventh floor, forms part of the twin 40-storey towers, Orchid and Iris, that dominate the development.
The mock-up flat was inaugurated by entrepreneur Rathnakar Shetty. This was followed by a formal programme opened by Purushotham Shetty of Ujwal Developers through the traditional lighting of the lamp.
Addressing the gathering, Ramesh Kanchan, president of the Udupi Taluk Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee, said Udupi is witnessing rapid development, with commercial complexes rising from Hiriyadka to Malpe. He added that Dr Jerry Vincent Dias and his family have significantly contributed to the region’s residential landscape. “He is not only a successful businessman but also a generous donor who consistently dedicates a portion of his earnings to society’s welfare. Today marks his 50th project, and I wish him success in completing 100 more,” he said.
Sudhir Shetty, president of Credai Udupi, extended his best wishes for the success of the project and expressed confidence that Dr Jerry Vincent Dias would continue to undertake many more developments in the future.
Mandavi Royal Garden, strategically located in the heart of Udupi, features twin 40-storey towers that set new benchmarks for vertical living in the region. Construction is progressing steadily, with 18 floors completed in Orchid and 5 in Iris. The project is scheduled for full handover by the end of 2027.
