Media Release

Mangaluru, Nov 19: IEEE Second International Conference on Computing, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems and Communications (COSMIC-2025) will be held on November 21-22, in the serene premises of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management in the region of Mangaluru.

Sahyadri has always prioritized research and innovation through various initiatives, including Synergia, Social Innovation Projects, the Sahyadri science talent hunt, and hosting prominent conferences. The COSMIC-2025, one of Sahyadri's flagship events, will take place in the college campus in Mangaluru, Karnataka, India and is supported by the IEEE Bangalore Section. This international conference is set to draw experts and enthusiasts from diverse fields including computing, semiconductor, mechatronics, intelligent systems, and communications.

COSMIC-2025 aims to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to come together and engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas for carrying multidisciplinary research. The conference will feature keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, and poster sessions, all designed to promote the dissemination of research findings and innovative solutions. All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for potential publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library (Conference Record #67569), through the IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP).

This marks the third IEEE international conference hosted by Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. Last year, we successfully organized the IEEE COSMIC-2024, and in 2023, organized IEEE DISCOVER-2023 in collaboration with the IEEE Mangalore Subsection and IEEE Bangalore Section, further solidifying our commitment to advancing technology and research. We look forward to the vibrant discussions and collaborations that COSMIC-2025 will inspire.

Overall, 400 papers were submitted to the conference from the various locations in the country and abroad, out of which 20% were accepted for presentation during the conference, after scrutiny through double-blind multiple reviews. We are expecting an audience of approximately 200+ attendees, participants and delegates from diverse locations.
