Sullia: Lorry carrying juice bottles overturns; driver escapes safely

Sullia, Nov 20: A major accident was reported near Devarakolli on Tuesday when a lorry transporting juice bottles from Madikeri overturned after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

The impact of the crash caused the lorry to catch fire. Firefighters from Madikeri fire station rushed to the spot and immediately launched efforts to bring the blaze under control. Thick smoke was seen billowing from the vehicle as the fire personnel worked to douse the flames.

Fortunately, the driver escaped without injuries, averting a potential tragedy.
