Mangaluru, Nov 20: Christian Sports Association (R), Mangaluru, is set to host the 5th edition of its annual badminton and 1st edition of table tennis tournament, along with the presentation of its prestigious CSA Sports Excellence Awards.

The tournament is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, at Father Muller Indoor Stadium, Kankanady, and is exclusively for members of the Christian Community of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts.

Tournament highlights

New event: For the first time, the tournament will feature a table tennis event, in addition to the regular badminton competition.

Categories: The event will host competitions across various age categories for men, women, boys, and girls.

Prizes: Attractive cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the winners in each category.

Registration: The last date for entries is November 30, 2025.

Sports excellence award:

In a special felicitation ceremony, the association will present Sports Excellence Award to Christian community sports persons from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kasargod districts who have achieved outstanding success at national or international levels in recognized sports events during the years 2024-25 and 2025-26.

Eligible achievers are requested to submit their details via the Google form mentioned in the official announcement on or before November 30.

The event is a platform to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie within the community. Christian Sports Association is looking forward to great participation, cooperation and support from enthusiasts from badminton & table tennis game and also sports lovers, well wishers of our community across all regions.
