Christ King student selected for world school girls’ volleyball championship

Karkala, Nov 20: Shagun S Verma, a class 9 student of Christ King English Medium High School, Karkala, has been selected to represent India at the World School Girls’ Volleyball Championship in the Under-15 category, organized by the School Games Federation of India.

She is the only player from Karnataka to secure a place in the national U-15 Indian volleyball team. The international championship will be held in Shangluo, China, from December 4 to 13. Shagun will proudly represent India and bring honour to Karkala on this global stage.

Shagun S Verma is the daughter of Sandesh Verma and Shrutiraj of Kallotte.
