Udupi, Nov 20: SMVITM students Shreyas and Ian Mark Lobo have brought laurels from the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition held on October 30-31 at NITK Surathkal.
The event was part of the Cyber security and CTF Boot camp, which commenced with a day of intensive training on cyber security fundamentals, followed by the CTF contest where participants identified vulnerabilities in machines and websites.
Shreyas clinched first prize and was awarded Rs 10,000, while Ian Mark Lobo secured third prize with a cash award of Rs 5,000.
The institute has extended heartfelt congratulations to Shreyas and Ian Mark for their exemplary skill and teamwork.
