Mangaluru, Nov 25: Vespers’ Day was devoutly celebrated on Tuesday, November 25 at Holy Family Church, Omzoor, marking the spiritual preparation for the parish’s annual feast.
Fr Vincent Dsouza, director of CODP Mangalore, proclaimed the word of god and led the Vespers ceremony. He was joined by the parish priest, Fr William Menezes, resident priest Fr Victor D’Souza, and several other concelebrating priests. The church choir added solemnity to the service with melodious renditions of the psalms.
Following the prayer service, a grand procession was taken out to honour the relics of the holy family. The faithful participated with great devotion, reflecting the strong spiritual spirit of the parish community.
A large gathering of parishioners took part in the ceremony as they prepared themselves for the church’s annual feast, which will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26.
