Mangaluru: Annual Feast celebrated with devotion at Holy Family Church, Omzoor

Mangaluru, Nov 26: The annual feast of Holy Family Church, Omzoor, was celebrated with great devotion and grandeur on Wednesday, November 26, drawing large participation from parishioners and guests.

Before the solemn festal Mass, parish priest Fr William Menezes distributed the candles of honour to all those who had contributed towards the feast, including the sponsors and well-wishers. This was followed by a dignified inaugural procession to the church entrance, accompanied by a lively brass band.

The solemn festival Mass was celebrated by Fr Praveen Leo Lasrado, secretary of the Catholic Education Board, Mangaluru. In his homily, he highlighted the significance of family values, faith, and unity in Christian life.

Concelebrating the Eucharist were parish priest Fr William Menezes, resident priest Fr Victor D’Souza, and 25 priests from the Bantwal deanery, along with several diocesan priests, adding spiritual richness to the occasion.

The celebration marked a joyful and grace-filled moment for the parish community, strengthening their faith and unity as they honoured the Holy Family.
