Goa, Dec 6: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) on Friday announced its second list of candidates for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections, adding 11 more names to its roster.
In North Goa, the new candidates are Maria Menezes (Aldona – General), Eldrich Bruce Dsouza (Penha de França – General), Shiney Olivera (St Cruz – Women OBC), and Krishnanath Rama Thakur (Honda – OBC).
For South Goa, the GPCC fielded Ramdas Temeykar (Curti – ST), Sanjay Arjun Velip (Guirdolim – ST), Rosario Mariano Fernandes (Xeldem – General), Roshan Rupesh Velip (Barcem – Women), Sumitra Pagi (Cola – Women OBC), Vasant Naik (Sancoale – General), and Sandra Rodrigues (Cortalim – Women).
This expanded list reflects GPCC’s attempt to strengthen its presence across various constituencies ahead of the panchayat polls.
