Mangaluru, Dec 7: The much-anticipated Tulu film Pili Panja, produced by Pratheek Y Poojary under the banner of Shiyana Production House (Kavoor), had its grand premiere at Bharat Cinemas on Sunday. The theatre buzzed with excitement as fans—from youngsters to families—turned up in large numbers to catch the first glimpse of the film.

Directed by Bharat Shetty, the movie features a multi-star cast and incorporates innovative technical elements, promising a fresh experience for Tulu-film enthusiasts. Supporting the project are co-producer Bindiya Pratheek, executive producer Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, music director L V S, singer-actors Rakshan Maduru and Sandesh Neermarga, dancer-choreographer Rajesh Kannoor, actress Disha Rani, and a skilled technical team including assistant director Akshath Vitla, with Suresh Balmath, Uday Ballal, and Lay-Valentine Saldana among others.

Audience response to the premiere was overwhelmingly positive. Many praised the film’s storyline, performances, and technical finesse. Several viewers described it as “a proud moment for Tulu cinema,” applauding the “fresh narrative,” “good music,” and “realistic performances.”

After the show, producer-executive Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli addressed the audience emotionally, saying, “Two years’ dream, and seeing you all like this, I am grateful. Love like this only. Thank you so much for your support. On December 12, the movie will release. We made this film with good content, so please watch it with your family and friends and do support.”
