Karkala, Dec 10: Smrithi Marate, a second-year science student of Christ King PU College, Karkala, has been selected for the state-level Bhavageethe singing competition.
The Mysuru division-level pre-university cultural competitions were organized by the department of pre-university education, government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Udupi zilla panchayat and the office of the deputy director of PU education, held at Poorna Prajna PU College, Udupi.
With her outstanding performance in Bhavageethe category, Smrithi Marate has earned selection for the state-level, bringing pride to her institution and the region.
