Turkish, Saudi military chiefs hold high-level talks in Riyadh

Riyadh, Dec 12: Turkish General Staff Chief Selcuk Bayraktaroglu met Saudi Chief of Staff Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili in Riyadh on Thursday during a high-level military dialogue between the two nations.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Defence, Bayraktaroglu arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to attend the strategic meeting. He was received with a military ceremony in the Saudi capital, as shared in a post on the ministry’s official Nsocial platform.

The two sides held a bilateral discussion followed by an expanded session with their respective delegations. At the conclusion of the talks, officials signed the final report of the high-level military dialogue, reaffirming defence cooperation between Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
