Mangaluru: St Agnes School CBSE celebrates success at the Carmel Chase Kho-Kho meet

Mangaluru, Dec 12: St Agnes School CBSE, Bendore, proudly marked a significant sporting accomplishment as its Kho-Kho team clinched the second runners-up trophy at the Carmel Chase Inter-School Kho-Kho Tournament, held on December 10 at Carmel Central School, Kotekar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from multiple schools across the Dakshina Kannada district, bringing together teams known for their skill, speed and competitive spirit.

The Agnesian team delivered an admirable performance, showcasing agility, strategy and remarkable coordination throughout the tournament. Facing strong contenders from various institutions, the team demonstrated resilience and teamwork, earning well-deserved recognition for their discipline and sportsmanship on the field.

Representing the school with exceptional enthusiasm and sporting spirit were 12 dedicated players, namely Adithi Ranjan (9D), Nishka J Bangera (9A), Anvita A (9D), Tanishka U P (9B), Reyhana K Hasan (9B), Dhrithi Shetty (10B), Neora Cardoza (10B), Chaitanya S K (10B), Vaishanavi M(8A), Rishika J Bangera(7D), Jeshta M Shetty(9C), Dhanvi V K (9D). Their collective effort and determination played a crucial role in securing this honourable achievement for the institution.

The management, principal, staff and students appreciated the young athletes for bringing honour to the school. Their achievement at the Carmel Chase tournament stands as a proud testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence in sports and fostering confidence among its students.
